Job summary

Construction, Property and Engineering is hiring a skilled plasterer to provide internal plastering repairs across the Bournemouth area within social housing properties.

Must have NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or time-served equivalent) and a full UK driving licence. You will work independently, manage stock, and use a PDA to update job status in real time, often in occupied homes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent time-served experience.
• Own tools preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence required to operate the company van.
• Asbestos awareness is required.
• Experience in social housing or reactive maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Are you a skilled plasterer looking for stability and the autonomy of a mobile role? We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join a dedicated social housing repairs and maintenance team covering the Bournemouth area.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out internal plastering repairs, including skimming, patching, and full wall/ceiling finishes.
• Conducting "damp and mould" remedial works where required.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while working in occupied homes.
• Managing your own stock and materials using the provided fuel card and van.
• Using a PDA or mobile device to receive and update job status in real-time.

Role Requirements

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent time‑served experience).
• Full UK Driving Licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness.
• Experience working within social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Your own tools would be preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, as you will be dealing directly with tenants.
