Job summary

TipTopJob in the Bournemouth area is seeking a skilled plasterer for a stable, mobile role within a dedicated social housing repairs team. You will cover internal plastering repairs, damp and mould remedial work, and manage your own stock while working in occupied homes.

You will also update job status via PDA, require a valid UK driving licence and NVQ2 in plastering or time-served experience, asbestos awareness, and excellent tenant-facing customer service.

Plasterer / Multi:Skilled Operative

Are you a skilled plasterer looking for stability and the autonomy of a mobile role? We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join a dedicated social housing repairs and maintenance team covering the Bournemouth area.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out internal plastering repairs, including skimming, patching, and full wall/ceiling finishes.
• Conducting damp and mould remedial works where required.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while working in occupied homes.
• Managing your own stock and materials using the provided fuel card and van.
• Using a PDA or mobile device to receive and update job status in real time.

Role Requirements

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent time:served experience).
• Full UK Driving Licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness.
• Experience working within social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Your own tools would be preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, as you will be dealing directly with tenants.
