Job summary

Gilmartins is expanding its elite operative team to serve social housing reactive maintenance in the UK. We are seeking experienced operatives who deliver high-quality work, outstanding service, and reliable results in occupied properties.

You’ll join a team that values professionalism, safety, and leadership, with long-term local opportunities. Elite Operatives will work across defined sites with a permanent, full-time contract, monthly pay, and a focus on KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within social housing reactive maintenance.
• Relevant trade qualifications where applicable.
• Full manual driving licence (no automatic vans available).
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience working in occupied properties.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of jobs from start to finish.
• Maintain van stock organised and controlled.
• Keep a clean and professional vehicle.
• Follow all health & safety and asbestos procedures.
• Use technology and PDAs correctly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Gilmartins is expanding and we are looking for the very best operatives in the industry to join us as Elite Operatives.

This is not just another trade role.

We are recruiting experienced, high-performing operatives to work across High Wycombe, Marlow and princes Risborough, in the following trade:

• Plasterer Decorators, must be experienced in thermal boarding, mould wash and painting.

We are offering:

• £50,000 basic salary
• Permanent, full-time employment, monthly pay
• Company van & fuel card for business use only (no personal use permitted)
