Job summary

Gilmartins is expanding its Elite Operative team in North West London, seeking an experienced Carpenter Multi Trader with basic plumbing, electrics, plastering and tiling skills.

Permanent, full-time role with £50,000 basic salary, company van and fuel card, PDA and branded uniform, long-term local workstreams and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social housing reactive maintenance.
• Full manual driving licence; no automatic vans available.
• Strong communication skills with tenants and teams.
• Experience working in occupied properties.
• Ability to manage workloads under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of jobs from start to finish.
• Keep van stock organised and controlled.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
• Follow health and safety and asbestos procedures.

Gilmartins is expanding — and we are looking for the very best operatives in the industry to join us as an Elite Operative.

We are recruiting experienced, high-performing operatives across Barnet, Camden, Wembley, Harrow, Ealing, Hounslow, Westminster, Hammersmith and surrounding areas - (must be willing to work in all areas) in the following trade:

• Carpenter Multi Trader with basic plumbing & electrics, patch plastering and tiling skills.

£50,000 BASIC SALARY

• £50,000 basic salary

Experience Required

• Proven experience within social housing reactive maintenance
• Relevant trade qualifications where applicable
• Full manual driving licence – no automatic vans available
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in occupied properties
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
