Job summary

Gilmartins is expanding and seeks an experienced Floor Layer to join our Elite Operatives in the London area. You will perform vinyl flat lay, cap & cove, and patch repairs, with carpentry skills advantageous, delivering high-quality reactive maintenance in social housing.

This permanent, full-time role offers a £50,000 basic salary, a company van with fuel card for business use, PDA & branded uniform, and long-term job security with local workstreams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within social housing reactive maintenance.
• Relevant trade qualifications where applicable.
• Full manual driving licence – no automatic vans available.
• Strong communication skills.

• Floor Layers - who are able to do (vinyl) flat lay, cap & cove, patch repairs ideally with Carpentry skills.

This Role Is NOT for Everyone

• Consistently achieve strong KPI performance

• Use technology and PDAs correctly

Experience Required

Applicants must have:
