Job summary

Places for People is hiring a qualified Plasterer to carry out plastering repairs across domestic properties and communal areas.

You will travel between sites in a company van, work with a schedule from 08:00 to 16:30, and enjoy a secure, permanent role with a strong benefits package. The role includes PPE, a pension, sick pay, and opportunities to contribute to KPI-driven teams.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Plastering required.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • You must be based within the advertised postcode area.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out plastering repairs across domestic properties and communal areas.
  • Complete general plastering work in line with specifications and supervisor instructions.
  • Conduct pre and post inspections and record outcomes.
  • Work to specifications and ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, schedulers and wider teams to meet deadlines.
  • Record work activity and complete required documentation.
  • Support apprentices and contribute to team KPIs.

What you'll be doing
  • Carrying out plastering repairs across domestic properties and communal areas
  • Completing general plasteringwork in line with specifications and supervisor instructions
  • Conducting pre and post inspections and recording outcomes

  • Collaborating with supervisors, schedulers, and wider teams to meet deadlines

Where you'll work

Essential Criteria (you need to meet all of these to be shortlisted)
  • NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds in Plastering
  • Experienceworking as a Plasterer, ideally within social housing or domestic properties
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Due to the area this patch covers, you will need to be basedwithin the advertised postcode
Nice to have (not essential)
  • Experiencesupervising or mentoring apprentices
  • Additional Level 2 tradequalification
