Qualifications

  • Experience in plastering for kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
  • Own tools (110V or battery-powered) and reliable transport.
  • CSCS card and NVQ Level 2 preferred.
  • Basic H&S awareness, especially asbestos awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all plastering work within kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
  • Prepare surfaces, bonding, patching and skimming.
  • Make good after other trades to ensure a quality finish.
  • Work in occupied social housing properties maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure work aligns with project specs and company standards.
  • Manage daily workload to meet programme deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with site teams, supervisors and tenants.
  • Identify and report issues or additional works required.
  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Plasterers to join our team working on kitchen and bathroom renewal projects within the social housing sector across Guildford area.

This is a great opportunity for self-employed tradespeople looking for consistent, long-term work with strong earning potential. You'll be part of a well-organised programme, delivering quality work in occupied properties while making a real difference to residents' homes.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Carrying out all aspects of plastering work within kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
  • Preparing surfaces, including bonding, patching, and skimming
  • Making good after other trades, ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Working in occupied social housing properties, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with project specifications and company standards
  • Managing your daily workload to meet programme deadlines
  • Communicating effectively with site teams, supervisors, and tenants
  • Identifying and reporting any issues or additional works required
  • Working collaboratively with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery

Qualifications
