Job summary

Mears Group is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join our Coatbridge team and support repairs and maintenance across occupied homes. You will perform plastering, rough casting, and multi-trade tasks, while prioritising safety and first-time fix rates.

The role is based in Coatbridge, Monday to Friday, 8am–4.30pm, with a 40-hour week and a salary up to £35,431.23 per year plus a company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Proven plastering experience.
• Experience in rough casting.
• Multi-trade experience and knowledge of additional trades.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently in occupied properties.
• Strong commitment to customer service, quality and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Strapping and plating.
• Plaster finish works.
• Rough casting.
• Complete repair and refurbishment works to agreed standards and timescales.
• Carry out fault finding and maintenance repairs with a focus on first time completion.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards with service users and stakeholders.
• Use handheld technology to manage work activities, records and compliance requirements.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and materials in accordance with company procedures.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
• Participate in emergency call out cover when required.
