Mears Group is seeking an experienced Plumber in Birmingham to join the Voids team. You will perform a range of plumbing repairs, replacements and upgrades in vacant properties to ensure they are safe and lettable for new tenants.
The role is full-time, permanent, with a standard 42.5-hour week (8-5, Monday to Friday) and a company van with a fuel card. Salary is up to £37,000 per year, with benefits and a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer service.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Plumber to join our Birmingham Voids team, helping to bring empty social housing properties back up to a high standard before new tenants move in. This is a hands‑on role where you'll carry out a variety of plumbing repairs, replacements and upgrades within vacant properties. From replacing sanitary ware and repairing pipework to identifying and rectifying plumbing defects, you'll play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, functional and ready for re-let. Working as part of a dedicated voids team, you'll be responsible for delivering quality workmanship, meeting turnaround times and helping improve the condition of housing stock across Birmingham. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently and consistently delivers a high standard of finish.
