Job summary

Bachy Soletanche in Ipswich is seeking a capable Plant Administration assistant to manage day-to-day plant administration across internal and external operations at the Sizewell C site.

You will support the Plant Coordination Manager with site requests, asset registers, stock control and supplier quotations, while maintaining strong communication with site personnel and adhering to health and safety practices.

• CSCS Card (joint venture can provide)

• Knowledge of plant / asset hire industry

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to engage with site personnel and build relationships

• Knowledge of Health and Safety
• Experience delivering best practices in plant and equipment safely

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant administration, both internal and external.
• Assist with processing site requests from all sites.
• Maintain Asset Register.
• Maintain the Damage Register.
• Assist Plant Coordination Manager with transport bookings.
• Assist with obtaining quotations for plant and equipment.
• Gather weekly plant inspection forms and PUWER logs from sites.
• Assist with NRMM data capture across sites.
• Stock take and re-orders for Plant Yard Stores.
• Manage stationery for the Plant Yard Office and welfare consumables.
• Assist with other administrative duties regarding plant and equipment.
