Qualifications

• PhD and 5+ years postdoctoral experience in plant molecular biology.
• Experience designing and deploying plant gene libraries.
• Hands-on pooled transformation, selection, screening, and deconvolution in plants.
• Expertise in molecular cloning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Drive rigorous experimental design, execution, and data interpretations, ensuring robust and reproducible scientific outcomes.
• Deliver research progress through stage gated milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate cutting edge research techniques into experiments.
• Present scientific work at seminars within EIT and at external meetings, contributing to lab discussions.
• Mentor other members of the research group as appropriate.
• Translate scientific results into commercial opportunities and IP protection and impact delivery.
