Job summary

You will design experiments, generate data, and collaborate across AI, automation, and biology teams to translate discoveries into real-world impact.

The role emphasizes stage-gated milestones, IP development, and publication contributions, with a strong focus on scalable plant science solutions that address global food and climate

Qualifications

• PhD and >5 years postdoctoral research in plant molecular biology labs, industry or academia.
• Experience designing, constructing, and deploying plant gene libraries for discovery and trait engineering.
• Hands-on experience with pooled transformation, selection, screening, and deconvolution in plant systems.
• Molecular cloning expertise including Golden Gate, Gateway, and Gibson Assembly.
• Experience with NGS-based library QC, construct IDs, barcode tracking, and pooled screens.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot automated molecular biology workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive rigorous experimental design, execution, and data interpretation with robust, reproducible outcomes.
• Deliver progress through stage-gated milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply cutting-edge techniques.
• Present work at internal seminars and external meetings; contribute to lab discussions on advances.
