Ecruit is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for a chemical processing and oil refining facility in Staffordshire. You will lead daily operations, drive safety and regulatory compliance, oversee maintenance, labs and quality control, and steer continuous improvement for profitability.
The role reports to the board and requires a strong technical background with a proven track record in plant performance and process safety.
Qualifikationen
- Significant, recent leadership experience within a hazardous chemical manufacturing or processing facility.
- Strong technical background with proven experience managing plant operations and performance.
- Sound knowledge of process safety and environmental compliance.
- Experience improving production efficiency, reliability and profitability.
- COMAH and distillation experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to lead independently and work directly with senior leadership.

- Leading day-to-day plant operations, production and technical teams.
- Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
- Overseeing manufacturing output, maintenance, laboratories and quality control.
- Driving operational efficiency, process optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Managing technical projects, process development and site improvements.
- Identifying opportunities to increase productivity, profitability and plant performance.
