Job summary

THG Omega in Warrington is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a large manufacturing site focused on powder blending and multi-format packaging. You will drive automation progression, asset lifecycle, and sustained performance improvements across a 24/5 operation with 150–250 staff.

You will own safety, quality, cost, delivery and people metrics, build leadership capabilities, and partner with Technical and Engineering teams to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading large manufacturing sites.
• Strong track record in GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence at scale.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across production, engineering, QA, and supply chain.
• Exposure to automation initiatives and asset maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations across powder blending and packaging to meet production plans safely and at scale.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, delivery and people metrics are met across shifts.
• Build and develop a multi-layer leadership team; foster capability and succession planning.
• Partner with engineering to maximize asset reliability, OEE and lifecycle management.
• Drive automation projects and continuous improvement to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Deliver cost performance while maintaining safety and compliance and report to senior leadership.
