Job summary

THG Manufacturing in Warrington seeks a Site Manager to lead the THG Omega manufacturing site. You will oversee a 150–250 headcount across powder blending and packaging, balancing day-to-day delivery with medium-term automation and process improvements.

You will drive safety, quality, cost efficiency, and OTIF while building leadership capability and ensuring asset reliability. A strong GMP background and experience in high-output environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a manufacturing leadership role within a large, complex site.
• Strong background in regulated manufacturing (GMP, BRCGS, or similar).
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and deliver performance at scale.
• Experience in driving operational improvements in stable, high-output environments.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in powder processing, blending, or high-volume packaging environments.
• Exposure to automation projects and capital investment programmes.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Engineering, Manufacturing, or related degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations across powder blending and packaging to deliver production plans safely and at scale.
• Own site performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people metrics.
• Maintain visible leadership across shifts and functions.
• Coordinate production, warehouse and engineering to meet throughput and service needs.
• Drive site KPIs including output, efficiency, labour utilisation and OTIF.
• Lead health, safety and compliance activities; audit readiness and regulatory adherence.
• Partner with Technical/Engineering to ensure product quality and GMP compliance.
• Drive automation and process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop leadership capacity and succession across Production, Warehouse, and Engineering.
