Job summary

Omega Resource Group seeks a Process Chemical Engineer to become the Process Technology Lead at its flagship site in Shropshire. You will drive process optimisation, improve efficiency and reliability, and lead manufacturing performance improvements across multiple production lines.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical/Process/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or process industry environment.
Strong knowledge of process optimisation and manufacturing performance improvement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience improving process capability, yield, efficiency or reliability.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical authority for manufacturing process performance and optimisation.
Drive improvements in process capability, yield, OEE and waste reduction.
Identify and deliver solutions to improve throughput, energy efficiency and plant performance.
Reduce downtime and process variation and coach production teams in best practices.
Lead CIP optimisation projects and support new product introductions and validation.
