Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to support the Site Manager in safe site operation, oversee the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system, and coordinate planned downtime for key equipment at the Dummer, Basingstoke site. The role requires a qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, plus experience with PLC controls or electronics.

A UK driving licence and telehandler licence are essential, with shifts, weekends, on-call duties and remote monitoring of

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience with PLC controls or electronics
• Training in materials handling, confined spaces, working at heights and first aid (in-house WAMITAB and NEBOSH if not held)
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance systems is essential
• Ability to follow procedures, manage costs and budgets

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager for safe site operation
• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system
• Coordinate planned downtime for key equipment for cost-effective overhaul
• Remote monitoring of the AD process
• Work shifts, weekends and on-call rota
