Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to support safe site operation and PPM planning. You will contribute to down time planning for cost effective overhauls and work closely with the Site Manager.

The role requires electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications, PLC/electronics experience, and a UK driving licence. Telehandler operation and safety training are advantageous on a 40-hour week rota.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in process industry preferred.
• Experience with PLC controls or electronics advantageous.
• WAMITAB and NEBOSH certificates desirable if not held.
• Full UK driving licence; telehandler ability desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager with safe operation of the site.
• Maintain the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system and downtime planning.
• Monitor costs and operate within approved budgets.
• Flexible to shift patterns, weekends, and on‑call rota; remote monitoring.
