Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to support safe site operation and the PPM system. The role involves planned downtime, cost control, and working within a shift pattern including weekends, with remote monitoring of the AD process.

You must hold a UK driving licence and be able to operate a telehandler; training to in-house WAMITAB and NEBOSH can be provided if not already held. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in process industry; PLC controls or electronics advantageous.
• WAMITAB competency standards and NEBOSH certificate training/qualification.
• Full UK driving licence; telehandler licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager to operate the site safely and efficiently.
• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system and equipment downtime.
• Assist with cost control and budget adherence; work within budget constraints.
• Operate telehandler and maintain telehandler licence; adapt to shift rota including weekends.
