Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to support the Site Manager in safe site operation and in managing the PPM system. The role involves planned downtime for cost-effective equipment overhauls, with remote monitoring of the AD process and shift work including weekends.

Candidates should be qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering, with process industry experience, and a UK driving licence. NEBOSH or WAMITAB training is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in process industry.
• WAMITAB competency standards training or NEBOSH general certificate preferred.
• Telehandler licence or ability to obtain one.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager with safe operation of the site.
• Maintain Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
• Plan down time for safe, cost-effective overhaul of key equipment.
• Remote monitoring of the AD Process.
