Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to support the Site Manager in safe operation, maintenance planning, and downtime for cost-effective overhaul of key equipment. The role focuses on maximizing GEU gas export and AD plant performance, with trained gas quality protocols.

Ideal candidates are electrical or mechanical engineers with PLC/electronics experience and the ability to work weekends, on-call, and remote monitor the AD process.

Qualifications

• You will be qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering with related process industry experience.
• Experience with PLC controls or electronics is advantageous.
• Training to in-house WAMITAB competency standards and NEBOSH general certificate will be provided if not held.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager with safe operation of the site.
• Contribute to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and planned downtime for cost-effective overhauls.
• Maximise gas export via GEU and AD plant performance, ensuring gas quality protocols.
• Operate AD process with remote monitoring and take part in weekend/on-call rota.
