Plant Maintenance Engineer

Benfleet, Essex

Full time, Permanent position

Salary: up to £41,000 per annum with OT & Bonus structure

Overtime paid upto double time!

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, 07:00 to 14:00 on a Friday

Our welcoming Client is seeking experienced maintenance engineer with some electrical experience for the position.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will me a main technician to provide effective maintenance, repair & servicing of plant, building & equipment. Working with our Client's in-house engineering team you will report to the senior engineer and also be a key part of the wider plant team!

The successful candidate will have some experience in mechanical engineering, but with a stronger bias to electrical & maintenance engineering.

Will have completed and engineering apprenticeship or similar level 3 qualifications.

In this role you will:

·Attend all mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment and building problems.

·Carry out safety tests as required.

·Fault finding.

·Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment and facilities.

·Undertake a programme of planned preventative maintenance ensuring optimum use and minimum downtime.

·Carry out duties as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and Company Operations Manual which may be updated from time to time.

·Support with building maintenance and other Ad hoc times.

·Any other ad hoc tasks.

·Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month For PPM tasks.

·Main work pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, 07:00 to 14:00 on a Friday.

·£38,000 to £41,000 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience - broken down for you into an hourly paid rate with overtime rates up to double time paid!
