We are recruiting a Plant Fitter/Service Engineer with our client, a leading plant hire company based in Cookstown.

Suitable candidates will need mechanical experience with plant machinery, such as access equipment, forklifts, diggers, etc.

Both workshop and field service options are available.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 5pm, and Friday, 7.30am - 4pm, with Saturdays on a rota paid at overtime 1.5 rates.

The Role

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on a range of plant and powered access machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the equipment.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations.
• Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the company.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history.
• Utilise strong mechanical skills to ensure precision and reliability in all aspects of the job.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail in maintaining the quality and performance of equipment.
• Work seamlessly as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
