Job Description:

We are recruiting a Plant Fitter/Service Engineer with our client, a leading plant hire company based in Mallusk.

Suitable candidates will need mechanical experience with plant machinery, such as access equipment, forklifts, diggers, etc.

Both workshop and field service options are available.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 5pm and Friday 7.30am - 4pm, with Saturdays on a rota paid at overtime 1.5 rates.

The Role:
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on a range of plant and powered access machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the equipment
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations
  • Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the company
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history
  • Utilise strong mechanical skills for precision and reliability
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in maintaining equipment quality and performance
  • Work as part of a team, fostering a collaborative work environment
What you'll need:
  • Previous experience in repairing plant and equipment
  • Good all-round mechanical skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
