Embark Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Diesel Plant Fitter / Service Engineer for a family-owned plant hire company based in the West Midlands. The role covers servicing, repair, and breakdown attendance on site, handling diesel engines on telehandlers, excavators and dumpers with a permanent full-time contract and overtime when required.

Ideal candidates will have experience in plant hire/construction equipment, own a tool kit, IT literacy, a valid driving license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in one or more of the following roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer
• You will need previous experience within the Plant Hire / Agricultural and Construction Equipment Industry
• Analytical approach to problem solving
• Able to work without instruction
• IT literate
• Own tool kit
• Good communication skills, both verbal & written
• Current driving license

Responsabilités

• PDI’s, Servicing & Repairing Plant Equipment

Job Role:

Working for a family owned Plant Hire Equipment company, you will be working as a Mobile Diesel Plant Fitter / Service Engineer – based in the West Midlands. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical Diesel Plant, equipment including Telehandlers, excavators, Dumpers etc. The salary for this position is £18.00 - £22.00 per hour, plus overtime as required. We are looking for someone who is familiar with working on Diesel Engines, with previous experience working on Construction Plant Equipment. The position is permanent full time Monday - Friday, plus overtime.
