Job summary

Holt Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Mobile Plant Fitter in Preston. You will service, maintain, and repair a range of plant machinery, supporting customers across the region both on-site and in the field.

The role requires fault-finding across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) ideally and a full UK driving licence. Overtime is available and there is a clear progression path.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on plant, agricultural, or similar equipment.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) ideally.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plant machinery.
• Attending breakdowns and scheduled maintenance on customer sites.
• Carrying out routine servicing and compliance inspections.
• Providing a high level of technical support and customer service.
• Managing your own workload effectively in a field-based role.

Rota: Monday – Friday – DAYS
