Job summary

SPEEDY HIRE (IRELAND) LIMITED is seeking a Plant Engineer to take overall responsibility for inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of plant hire equipment in the region, ensuring safety and compliance with Speedy standards.

You will work with other engineers in the depot and regularly liaise with drivers and the hire desk team to prioritise repairs and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on flexible working hours and work-life balance.

Qualifications

Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to the highest standard.
NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Technical/engineering background is desirable.
Flexible approach to working hours.
Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities
