Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Reading is seeking a Plant Engineer to inspect, test, maintain and repair plant hire equipment, ensuring safety and adherence to Speedy safety standards. You will work closely with depot engineers, drivers and the hire desk to prioritise repairs and maintenance.

The role offers flexible hours with a 42-hour week, plus opportunities for training, development and progression within the Speedy Group.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to the highest standard.
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Technical/engineering background desirable.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Support ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities
