Speedy Group is recruiting a Plant Engineer in Reading (Mon-Fri, 42 hours) to oversee inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of plant hire equipment. You will work with other engineers, drivers and the hire desk team to prioritise repairs and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to a high standard.
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in a relevant discipline.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain and repair plant hire equipment in the region to ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with depot engineers, drivers and hire desk team to prioritise repairs and maintenance.
