Job summary

British Gypsum at East Leake is seeking an Electrical Craftsperson (Maintenance Engineer) to maintain and improve gypsum plaster production plant. You will perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance and support small installation projects.

The role operates Monday to Friday 8am-4pm with some out-of-hours flexibility for plant needs; a generous salary and benefits including a bonus and healthcare options are on offer.

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent with industrial experience.
• Experience in maintenance, fault finding andRoot Cause Analysis.
• Experience using permit-to-work and risk assessment.
• Experience in CMMS and maintenance planning.
• Lean Manufacturing/WCM mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preventive scheduled maintenance, reactive repairs and some installation work.
• Support ongoing improvement and uptime of plant equipment.
• Follow maintenance schedules in CMMS and create work orders.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to optimise plant performance.
