Job summary

Murphy is hiring a Plant and Transport Mobile Technician in Hemel Hempstead. You will service, diagnose and repair machinery and equipment in line with manufacturers' specs, and carry out scheduled inspections.

You will record information digitally using Syrinx App and contribute to a safe, efficient workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have NVQ3 level education or equivalent, hold a full UK driving licence, and be willing to complete Murphy's in-house training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and skills gained through education to NVQ3 or equivalent.
• CSCS card or eligible to obtain one is preferred.
• Experience in similar role is desirable but not mandatory.
• Willingness to undertake Murphy in-house training requirements.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled service inspections, servicing and repairs in line with manufacturers specifications.
• Conduct regular servicing on machinery, plant and equipment as assigned.
• Diagnose and repair complex faults in machinery, plant and equipment.
• Carry out repairs to machinery, plant and equipment and their components.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop and environment.
• Record information digitally, including photographs on Syrinx App.
• Comply with Murphy's Environmental and Health & Safety procedures.

• Conduct repairs to machinery, plant and equipment, and their components.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop and environment
• Record information digitally, including photographs on Syrinx App
• Carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company's Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures.
• Happy to work under your own initiative and has part of a team

What we need from you:

• Knowledge that would be acquired through education to NVQ3 equivalent.
• CSCS
• Preferably experience in similar role
• Full UK driving licence (Essential)
• Commitment to carry out in house Murphy training requirements
