Job summary

Murphy is seeking a skilled heavy plant operator to join our West Sussex operations, delivering infrastructure projects with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will operate 360 tracked or wheeled equipment, collaborate with colleagues to meet timelines, and conduct routine inspections while reporting issues to maintain site safety and performance. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a heavy plant operator on infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
• Must hold a UK driving licence and be willing to travel.

What Your Day Will Include

• Operate heavy plant machinery efficiently & safely.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct routine inspections of your equipment and report any issues.

What We Need From You

• Proficient operation of relevant heavy machinery and equipment.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and best practice.
