Job summary

phs Compliance in Golborne, Warrington is seeking a Planning Team Leader to lead and develop the Planning function, coordinating scheduling and optimising operational activities across the business.

You will work with Operations to drive efficiency, manage resources, and enhance customer experience, focusing on planning, forecasting and performance management. This is a full-time permanent role with opportunities for career progression and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a planning/scheduling team.
• Experience in workforce planning and forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Planning Team to deliver performance and customer service.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure planning activities support business objectives.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular one-to-one and team meetings to support development.
• Prepare, analyse and present departmental reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Review customer and engineer feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer experience.
• Coordinate ad hoc work activities and maximise engineer utilisation.
• Own medium- and long-term planning models across regions.
• Produce workload forecasts to determine resource requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, productivity and service delivery.
• Support the Service Delivery function and provide cover when required.
