Job summary

D R Newitt is seeking a Planning Manager to join their team in the United Kingdom on a permanent basis. The role focuses on leading planning, scheduling and stock control activities to support customer demand and drive efficiency.

You will own the end-to-end monthly S&OP process, oversee S&OE, and develop robust plans to enable future growth. The position offers a salary up to £50,000 with unique company benefits.

• Lead, coach and develop the Planning, Scheduling and Stock Control teams.
• Own and lead the end-to-end monthly S&OP process.
• Lead the weekly and daily S&OE process.
• Oversee forecasting activities across all customers and product categories.
• Ensure production plans support customer demand whilst maximising operational efficiency.
• Maintain ownership and governance of inventory management processes.
• Ensure planning processes deliver industry-leading service levels.
• Develop robust plans to support future growth requirements.
• Develop and maintain meaningful planning KPIs and management information.
• Lead planning process improvements and best practice implementation.
