Job summary

Wyre Forest District Council is recruiting a full-time Technical Support Officer for the Local Planning Authority. You will assist in day-to-day planning activities, including registration of applications and responding to inquiries, while supporting officers and maintaining planning data and the website.

The role involves administrative duties, finance monitoring, and providing office-based support to the Planning team, contributing to efficient service delivery for the district.

Qualifications

• Manage information and data in support of housing and planning functions.
• Registration of planning and related applications.
• Administration of planning appeals.
• Respond to phone, email and written enquiries.
• GIS plotting of application sites.
• Maintenance of the planning website information.
• Monitor finances; and
• Provide office based support for the Planning team.
