Planning Policy Team Leader - London Local Authority

Carrington West is assisting a London-based Local Authority in their search for an experienced Policy Team Leader.

This is an initial 3-month contract position paying up to £60 per hour inside IR35.

We are seeking experienced Planners with a strong knowledge of national planning policy, ideally from a Local Authority background. The successful candidate will work towards tight deadlines with minimal supervision, prioritize daily workloads, and focus on developing policy content for the Local Plan.

The role includes mentoring junior staff members.

Applicants should be experienced and motivated Planners, holding a degree (preferably a master's) and MRTPI status or working towards it. A strong knowledge of planning legislation and processes, along with excellent communication skills, is essential.

Rates are negotiable up to £60ph (DOE).
