Opportunity for a Team Leader in Planning Policy

Join the Planning and Growth Division as a Team Leader in Planning Policy. The Policy team is responsible for writing policies, conducting research, monitoring, fostering partnership working, collaborating with consultants, and developing the Local Plan.

Candidate Requirements:

• Demonstrate knowledge of planning policy and design considerations, with an understanding of strategic planning issues.
• Ability to interpret complex issues simply and translate them into development management policies.
• Proactive in suggesting ideas for improvements and change.
• Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to diverse projects within the division.
• Possess a good understanding of urban planning and a customer-focused attitude.

This role offers training and opportunities to gain experience across the Planning Division, working towards RTPI accreditation.
