Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is seeking a Planning Officer to join our Planning Service in a hybrid working arrangement. This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £30,193 - £34,104 per annum.

You will manage a wide range of planning applications, certificates and pre-application enquiries, and may assist senior officers with complex cases or appeals. A degree in Town Planning or a related subject, or a recognized planning qualification, is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or a relevant subject, or a qualified Planner.
• Experience working for a Local Planning Authority is desirable but not essential.
• Will handle applications, certificates and pre-application enquiries and may assist senior officers with larger and more complex applications and condition discharges.

Responsibilities

• Deal with a wide range of applications, certificates and pre-application enquiries.
• Handle planning appeals under the written representation procedure.
• May assist senior officers with larger and more complex applications and condition discharges.
