7 Steel UK is seeking a Planning Engineer for the Rod and Bar Mill Team to develop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules balancing safety, production priorities and resources.
You will lead SAP PM processes, coordinate weekly planning meetings and drive preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to minimize disruption while promoting a strong HSE culture. A BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
Joining our Rod and Bar Mill Team as a Planning Engineer, you will be taking on a varied and exciting role. You will be responsible for developing, communicating and maintaining maintenance plans and schedules, that balance maintenance requirements, production priorities, and resources, all whilst prioritising safety. You will be experienced in maintenance planning and scheduling, and ideally, you will have a background in the steel industry. However, what is most important to us is your strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. Your analytical mindset will support you to adapt and overcome challenges in our fast-paced rolling mill.
To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need a BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (minimum).
