This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.

You'll work collaboratively with colleagues across marketing, communications, audience and engagement, creative, data and external suppliers to deliver joined-up campaigns to set deadlines. We're a supportive team that values knowledge sharing, curiosity and continuous improvement. We work in a structured yet flexible way, using established processes to deliver high-quality work while making space for creativity and new ideas.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You'll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
In this role, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of communications and fundraising campaigns in support of our strategy: 'People and Nature Thriving'. Working with stakeholders and specialist teams both internally and externally, you’ll bring people together around shared goals and audience needs, translating these into practical campaign plans. You’ll build strong relationships and coordinate the successful delivery of complex, multi-channel campaigns from initial commission through to evaluation, championing high standards of delivery and service. You'll support a test-and-learn approach, capture learning and share insights to inform future campaigns. You'll balance multiple priorities, solve problems and help teams deliver great outcomes for our audiences. You may also provide support on larger or longer-term campaigns led by colleagues in the wider planning and delivery team.
