Job summary

Confidential near Bolton town centre is seeking a Planning Administrator to coordinate a busy workload across the North West. You will work with one other planner and engineers to ensure they are in the right place at the right time while keeping customers updated.

The role offers a salary of 29,000–31,000, with a bonus scheme, on-site gym and a company pension. This permanent role requires excellent organisation and good IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling or coordination with field-based teams.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of the North West geography.
• Confident in communicating with customers and engineers over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule routes for engineers across the North West.
• Organise maintenance visits and reactive callouts, allocating work.
• Answer calls regarding faults, repairs and installations.
• Book jobs and update the database.
• Manage changing workload and priorities throughout the day.
• Provide engineers with information and required workloads.
• Communicate with customers and resolve plan changes.

Looking for a planning role where no two days are the same and you'll be trusted to keep things moving? This could be a great opportunity to join a busy and established company close to Bolton town centre. With a busy team of 12 engineers working across the region, they're looking for an experienced Planning Administrator who can hit the ground running and help keep everything organised. You'll work alongside one other planner, sharing the workload and making sure engineers are in the right place at the right time, while keeping customers updated and dealing with anything that changes along the way. The role pays up to 31,000, depending on experience and benefits include free parking, company pension, bonus scheme and an onsite gym.

What will you be doing as a Planning Administrator?

• Planning and scheduling routes for a team of engineers working across the North West
• Organising routine maintenance visits as well as reactive customer call outs and allocating work
• Taking calls from customers regarding faults, repairs, maintenance and new installations
• Booking jobs and updating the database
• Managing a busy and changing workload, constantly reviewing priorities throughout the day
• Working closely with engineers to make sure they have the information and work they need
• Speaking with customers, dealing with problems and finding practical solutions when plans change
