Job summary

Civil Works Alliance in the United Kingdom is seeking a Planner to support Sizewell C's Main Civil Works, developing, coordinating, and maintaining detailed programmes for major reinforced concrete structures.

You will work with MCW teams to ensure sequencing, progress tracking and programme integrity aligns with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Degree or recognised qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Experience contributing to construction programmes within civil engineering environments.
• Some exposure to reinforced concrete planning.
• Desirable: CIOB/MICE membership and 4D/Synchro modelling experience.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining logical construction sequences and methodologies.
• Support analysis of performance and advising delivery teams on programme impacts.

Planner Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low‑carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Main Civil Works Section.

What will you do?

The CWA is seeking a Planner to support the delivery of the Main Civil Works (MCW) for Sizewell C — one of the UK’s most significant low‑carbon energy infrastructure projects. Working within one of the MCW delivery sections, the Planner will contribute to developing, coordinating, and maintaining detailed project programmes for major reinforced concrete structures. This role will support the MCW Planning Lead and wider delivery teams to ensure construction sequencing, progress monitoring and programme integrity are aligned with project objectives.

The ideal Planner will bring practical planning skills and a proactive approach to coordination, communication and programme development across multidisciplinary teams. Key accountabilities include:
