Job summary

Kier Group in London is seeking a Planner to join our Build Team, helping ensure projects run on schedule and to budget.

You will create and maintain detailed programmes, visit sites for planning guidance, and collaborate with delivery and pre-construction teams to drive project success.

• Construction planning experience within a contractor environment.
• Proficient in Asta Power Project and scheduling software.
• Ability to build and maintain realistic project programmes across multiple projects.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple project schedules.

Job description

We're looking for a Planner to join our Build Team based in London.

Location:Greater London and Thames Valley.

Hours:Full Time, Permanent - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Planner within our Construction Team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our construction projects run smoothly and efficiently. You'll collaborate with both Construction Delivery and Pre-Construction Teams, providing valuable planning expertise while maintaining oversight of complex projects to ensure plans are created and updated in alignment with project requirements.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planner, you'll be working within the Construction Delivery team, supporting them in delivering projects efficiently and on schedule. Your day to day will include:

• Creating and maintaining detailed construction programmes using specialist software,
• Conducting regular site visits to provide planning support and guidance,
• Gathering and analysing progress information to identify potential concerns,
• Offering expert planning advice across multiple projects,
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
