Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Keogh Barracks project in Aldershot. You will own the programme development across pre-construction and construction phases for a £240m Defence Infrastructure Organisation scheme, coordinating design, commercial and construction elements.

Ideal candidates have a proven track record in main contractor planning, experience with tendering and live projects, and proficiency in Asta Powerproject and Bluebeam, with knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and

• Construction planning experience within the main contractor environment.
• Solid history of working on build tenders and live projects £5M–£100M+.
• Proficient in Asta Powerproject and Bluebeam (or similar).
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contract conditions and how this affects planning.
• CSCS accreditation; willing to undertake HMG security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Producing fully integrated and resourced programmes incorporating all disciplines (design, commercial, construction).
• Developing and monitoring tender event schedules, site logistics, and temporary works schedules.
• Liaising with sub-contractors and reviewing their programmes for contract compliance.
• Forecasting programme scenarios, developing mitigation strategies, and providing planning support to the project team.
• Producing monthly client progress reports and driving collaborative planning forums.

We're looking for a Senior Planner to join our Keogh Barracks team based in Aldershot.

Location: Keogh Barracks, Ash Vale, AldershotHours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We're recruiting for a site-based Senior Planner to join our exciting circa £240m project for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation at Keogh Barracks in Aldershot. You'll work with our established project team throughout the Pre Construction Phase and Construction/Handover Phase through to Q3 2030. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on overall programme development and monitoring for a significant project spanning 17 new build and refurbishment assets with associated external and infrastructure works.

What will you be responsible for?

• -Producing fully integrated and resourced programmes incorporating all disciplines, including design, commercial, and construction elements

• -Liaising with sub-contractors and reviewing their programmes for compliance with contract conditions

What are we looking for?

• -You have construction planning experience gained within the main contractor environment
• -You have a solid history of working on build tenders and live projects between £5M - £100M+ in value
• -You're an experienced user of Asta Powerproject software and Bluebeam (or similar)
• -You have strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contract conditions and how this affects planning
• -You hold valid CSCS accreditation and are willing to undertake HMG security clearance
