Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is offering a 12-month placement for aspiring engineers, linked to our Yorkshire Water framework. You will gain exposure to both design and construction teams on live projects that benefit communities.

Working in our Yorkshire and Humber region, you’ll deliver process engineering design, develop sustainable solutions, and collaborate with the supply chain while receiving mentorship and support from experienced professionals. Summer 2027 start.

Qualifications

• You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver process engineering design, including process calculations, mass balance, process flow diagrams and input to control philosophies.
• Develop efficient and sustainable engineering solutions, meeting the requirements of the project scope.
• Proactively engage with the supply chain and produce technical specifications for procuring proprietary process equipment.
