Franco Manca in Canterbury is seeking a Pizza Second Chef to support the Head Chef and keep the kitchen beating with passion. You will work closely to deliver consistently amazing pizzas, lead on key kitchen areas, and help train junior teammates. Stay calm under pressure, lead when needed, and enjoy the craft of slow-rising sourdough and fresh ingredients.

This role values kitchen experience, a team-first attitude, and a drive to grow your career within a vibrant pizzeria family.

• You’ll have kitchen experience and a passion for great food.
• Strong understanding of food prep, hygiene and service.
• Be a great team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Head Chef and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Deliver consistently amazing food and ensure pizza quality.
• Take responsibility for key kitchen areas from prep to service.
• Help train and support junior team members.
• Lead the team when the Head Chef isn’t present.
• Play a hands-on role, from dough stretching to pizza creation.
