Job summary

Franco Manca in the UK is seeking a passionate Pizza Second Chef to support the Head Chef, ensuring every pizza is a masterpiece and that kitchen standards are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.

You will train junior team members, stay calm under pressure, and lead the team when the Head Chef is away, delivering great food with our signature sourdough and seasonal ingredients.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong focus on food prep, hygiene and service quality.
• Ability to lead and support junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef and deliver consistently amazing food.
• Oversee food prep, quality control and hygiene standards.
• Train and support junior team members, sharing skills.
• Lead the team when Head Chef isn’t present.
• Stretch dough and craft pizzas to a high standard.
