Job summary

Franco Manca is hiring a Pizza Second Chef to support the Head Chef and drive high‑quality pizza production in a fast‑paced kitchen. You will help deliver consistent, delicious dishes and maintain strict hygiene standards across all stations.

You will train junior team members, stay calm under pressure, and lead operations when the Head Chef is away, contributing to a positive, high‑energy environment.

Qualifications

Kitchen experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong understanding of food prep, hygiene and service.
Passion for cooking and high-quality dishes.
Great team player, able to motivate others.
Stay organised and focused during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

Support Head Chef and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Collaborate with Head Chef to deliver consistently excellent pizzas.
Lead key areas of the kitchen, ensure hygiene and safety standards.
Train and support junior staff with skills and techniques.
Stay calm under pressure and step in when needed.
