Job summary

Rolls-Royce Derby Precision Casting Facility is seeking a Manufacturing Services Technician (Pipefitter) to install, maintain and service gas, argon, steam pipework and boilers. You will work with the Manufacturing Services Leader and Engineer to keep critical assets safe, available and performing at a high level.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Pipefitter apprenticeship.
• Experience with pipefitting installations and maintenance operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret technical data.
• Understanding of local HSE standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across assets.
• Install and maintain site gas, argon supply, steam pipework and boilers.
• Fabrication and welding work across the facility.
• Coordinate with Production Leaders and Engineers to plan work.
