Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Derby is seeking a Manufacturing Services Technician (Pipefitter) to install, maintain and service gas and steam pipework, boilers and related facilities at the Precision Casting Facility. You will perform routine, reactive and preventive maintenance across a broad range of assets, ensuring safe and available outputs.

The role requires time-served pipefitter experience, strong reading of engineering drawings, and good IT literacy.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Pipefitter time-served apprenticeship.
• Good understanding of Pipefitting Installations and maintenance operations.
• Basic IT literacy and able to work to engineering drawings.
• Understanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on manufacturing assets.
• Coordinate workload and electrical activities with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, Design Engineers, Maintenance Team members and Production Operators.
• Work with site Manufacturing Engineers to understand and restore equipment performance to standard.
• Support asset maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facilities are safe and reliable.
